Footer

There are many options and columns you can add to your local Footer. 

To configure your local Footer go to Configuration > System > Local Footer.

Address

If you want to have an address for your site, select United States from the Country dropdown and add your address.

Action and Social Links

These links display on the left side of the footer below the logo. 

Action Links can be used as needed.  Most links here are for Contact Us, Resources, etc.

Social Links that have been added to most sites, link to the SDSS Social Media Channels.  When you enter the URL, the system recognizes the web address and will apply the appropriate social media icon in your footer. For example, https://www.facebook.com will display the Facebook icon as a link automatically.

If you wish to add others expand the Action and Social Links section and add the URL & Link Text. Use the + arrow on the left to move items up & down.  Click on Add another item if needed to add more.

Primary & Secondary Links

These sections appear as columns in the footer. These are typically used for things link Quick Links or Learn More.

Expand each section and add or change links as needed.  Use the + arrow on the left to move items up & down.

Signup Form & Login Button

We are currently not using these sections.

Local Lockup

This is where you add the School/Department Logo and Title.  It is similar to the Logo Settings for the Header section.

Content Blocks

You can add additional information to this section.

  • First Content Block displays below the logo and above the Social Links.
  • Second Content Block displays in the column under Primary Links.
  • Third Content Block displays in the column under Secondary Links.
